BARTLEY HENRY MUSELLE'S TREASURE

BARTLEY HENRY MUSELLE'S TREASURE. Henry Musell, small town history teacher, is searching for a treasure buried by his great grandfather nine generations ago, during the French-Indian War. He teams up with a group of high schools science students who have found a gold precipitate in a water pollution study. Together, they uncover clues using modern research techniques combined with old fashioned leg work. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Roger Bartley, a lifelong resident of Minerva, OH is a fifth generation funeral director. When he was twelve, Roger and his father made a 235-mile trip by river from Minerva to Marietta, Ohio. This developed in him a keen interest for local history and adventure. Following a two year speaking tour, Roger began a lifelong pursuit of recording and publishing stories about his hometown. In 1977, he published the Minerva Bicentennial History Book. A graduate of Mount Union College and Regent University, he also worked as a newspaper journalist, a radio/television producer, and has written for local, national and international media. Standing in their way is Fred Johnson. His Construction company is building the new highway, and he's already buried evidence of wetlands. Now he'll do anything - including murder - to make sure a gold rush doesn't keep him from earning a $13 million bonus.
